Until now, when it came to boiling water in Japan, people had the choice of using either a kettle or a hot water dispenser; recently though, the demand for electric kettles has increased. Since you can easily boil water in places other than the kitchen as long as there is a power source handy, its convenience is really catching on. The electric kettles that are currently being sold are all big and have flashy shapes; that's why ±0 created a small, simple cylindrical electric kettle. To ensure that is looks as little like an electrical kitchen device as possible, the switch was fitted to the bottom section of the kettle's handle, while the power base with cord reel attached - having the same diameter as the kettle itself - has been integrated with the kettle. This may just become a new must-have item in our lives.
