2.5mmの角Rは角材の角を、触って痛くないように面取りしたものが、人の手に触れられて、あるいは風化して丸まったくらいの丸みです。人が触り慣れた角の丸みです。この小さな直方体も手に心地いい大きさと形です。しかし手に持って使うものではなく、置いて使うものですが、2.5Rはそこに置いて手に馴染む、そして人に馴染む直方体で、同一の形と大きさに異なる機能を詰め込むプロジェクトです。まずはアナログクロック、LEDのデジタルクロック、デジタルタイマー、FMラジオから始めます。空っぽの箱もあります。異なる機能を詰め込んだ小さな箱が集まると積み木みたいです。

When a group of small boxes packed with different functions are collected together, they look like a set of building blocks.
